Commodore Wreckers Gold Coast isn’t just another auto dismantler — we are a team of Holden enthusiasts, mechanics, and parts experts dedicated to preserving the Holden Commodore legacy. From VB to VF, we supply genuine, new, and recycled parts that keep Aussies driving.

What started as a small family-owned yard in 2014 has grown into one of Australia’s largest online Commodore spare parts inventories. But our mission remains the same: offer high-quality parts at fair prices, backed by real expertise.

From a Local Wrecker to National Leaders

In 2014, our founder saw a problem: Commodore owners were struggling to find affordable, reliable spare parts as Holden phased out production. So we opened our first yard on the Gold Coast, specialising exclusively in Holden Commodore models.

Within 5 years, we outgrew our original space, moving to a 5,000m² facility stocked with over 15,000 parts. Today, we ship Australia-wide, supporting everyday drivers, mechanics, and restoration specialists.

State‑of‑the‑Art Inventory & Testing

Our Gold Coast headquarters features dedicated bays for engine and gearbox testing, a climate-controlled storage area for sensitive electronics, and a team of specialist mechanics who know every Commodore variant.

We stock everything from LS3 V8 engines to rare VY interior trim, and our online inventory updates in real time. If it’s in the yard, it’s ready to order.

We don’t just strip cars – we carefully evaluate each donor vehicle before it enters our yard. Most of our inventory comes from repairable write‑offs, end‑of‑life vehicles, and private collections across Queensland and New South Wales. This allows us to offer low‑kilometre engines, mint‑condition body panels, and rare trim pieces that are no longer in production.

Once a vehicle arrives, our team logs every salvageable component into our digital inventory system. Each part is photographed, graded (A, B, or C grade), and tested where applicable. We maintain a strict “no rust, no damage” policy for all structural and safety‑related parts.

Our warehouse is organised by model (VB–VF) and part category, so finding what you need is fast – even for rare variants like the HSV GTS or the SS‑V Redline. With over 15,000 SKUs, we guarantee one of the widest selections anywhere in Australia.

Every Part Tested,
Every Component Verified

Unlike many wreckers that sell parts “as is”, we take quality seriously. Our on‑site workshop is equipped with diagnostic tools for electronic modules (ECUs, BCMs, ABS pumps), compression testers for engines, and a dedicated transmission test stand.

Engines: All engines undergo a cold compression test, oil pressure check, and borescope inspection. Low‑kms engines are dyno‑tested before listing.
Gearboxes & Diffs: Manual transmissions are shift‑tested; automatics are pressure‑tested. We inspect for leaks, worn synchros, and torque converter condition.
Electronics: We bench‑test every ECU, instrument cluster, and fuse box. All modules are reset and, where possible, updated to latest firmware.
Body parts: Panels are checked for rust, prior repairs, and paint thickness – no hidden surprises.

If a part fails our testing, it never reaches the website. That’s why our return rate is under 1% – far below industry average.
